I tried it and the way it works is that you get 200 spins in a weekly tournament and 500 spins in a monthly tournament. But you can play them as Radka said for any amount of time. So if you play 200 spins at once in a weekly tournament, you won't get any more. So therefore it doesn't apply that it resets over midnight or anything like that.
