In my opinion, if you often need to self-exclude from casinos, it could be best to seek support focused on staying outside any casino. Gamstop, as you probably know, only works on UKGC sites; however, offshore licenses or particularly unlicensed casinos, have no such general options. Therefore, staying away from any casino possible sounds like a reasonable goal to me.
The score you mention usually does not affect how the casino behaves in the future, for example.
I have blocked all emails and now harassing me of New email trying to get me back in with 100 spins after taking all of my money affecting my mental health affecting my life affect my relationship as I’ve shown you in previous screenshots and then now still coming back for more harassing me violating me predatory behaviour where does it stop? Give up? I’ve excluded over 10 times of reporting them to every single person you can think of. They’ve now set up a new email account and now Shaun twice me back in is there something that someone can do? This is not fair of people like me that’s financially struggling through financial hardship because of people like these casino they should be blacklisted and shut down one license taking peoples money doing this to people and there’s nothing that anyone can do about it. Just watching people just take money violating harassing when they’re vulnerable, weak suffering with mental health.
I am really sorry that you are going through this. I can understand why you feel angry, exhausted and frustrated, especially after everything you have already been through with this casino.
I also want to make clear that we did not close your complaint because we thought the casino's behaviour was acceptable. You told us that you had repeatedly asked them to close your account and self-exclude, and the complaint was about the way they handled your account despite your gambling concerns. We contacted the casino several times and asked them to respond and provide evidence, but they did not cooperate. Because of this, we had to close the complaint as unresolved.
I understand that this does not solve your current problem, especially when you are now receiving emails from new addresses. If you have already blocked many addresses and they keep finding another way to contact you, I think you may need a more radical solution for your own protection.
If your goal is to make sure that you cannot get back into gambling, I would consider making yourself as difficult to reach and as difficult to log back in as possible.
For example, one option would be to completely close the email account that is being targeted and create a new email address which you do not use for any gambling activity.
If you need to keep your current email account, you could instead make it deliberately difficult for yourself to access it. For example, you could change the password, remove all saved login details and remove the recovery methods that would allow you to reset the password yourself. You could ask someone you trust to help you set this up, so that you do not keep an easy way to get back into the account.
You could do something similar with your casino accounts. Remove all saved casino passwords and automatic logins from your browser or password manager. You could also set up two-factor authentication and then make sure that the recovery codes or other recovery methods are not available to you. If you use an authenticator app, for example, you could set it up and then remove the backup/recovery access so that you cannot simply restore it yourself later.
You can also use website-blocking tools on your computer and phone to make accessing gambling websites more difficult.
I know that none of this excuses the casino's behaviour. They should respect your requests and your gambling concerns, and I understand why you want them to stop contacting you. Unfortunately, we cannot control what an unresponsive casino will do next or whether they will create another email address.
What we can do is focus on protecting you from the next contact.
You do not need to keep fighting every new email they send. If they create another address, the aim should be that you cannot easily see it, log into the casino, deposit money or reverse the protections you have put in place.
And because you have told us that this is affecting your mental health, your finances and your relationship, I would also strongly encourage you to seek support specifically for gambling problems. Not because I do not take your complaint seriously, I do, but because you deserve support that can help you stay away from gambling even when a casino tries to bring you back.
I really hope you can put as many barriers as possible between yourself and gambling. At this point, protecting yourself may be more effective than continuing to fight every new email address they
I understand why you feel that way, especially after everything you have experienced.
What I can suggest is focusing on the things that are still within some kind of your control and making it as difficult as possible for gambling to reach you again. I really hope you will consider doing this, because from everything you have told us, it seems that protecting yourself from further gambling is now much more important than continuing to fight every new email they send.
