Jeg har været tilknyttet adskillige spilleinstitutioner og medlem af snesevis af online casinoer i over 30 år uden problemer.
Sidste år tilmeldte jeg mig Betway, men havde min første uenighed i mit liv med et casino angående indbetalingsgrænser. På det tidspunkt kom jeg med et par useriøse kommentarer om sikkerhedsproblemer, jeg måtte have, som blev sagt på grund af frustration (min fejl, jeg ved det, og det er dumt). De lukkede min konto og tilføjede mit navn til Gamprotect. Siden da har alle de spillefirmaer, der er tilmeldt Gamprotect, lukket mine konti med en besked: -
"På grund af en Gamprotect-indtastning foretaget af Betway har vi lukket din konto. Kun Betway kan fjerne denne indtastning, derfor skal du kontakte dem."
Jeg har kontaktet Betway og forklaret situationen og undskyldt. Jeg har givet dem en forklaring på eventuelle sikkerhedsbehov, de mener, jeg har, og vist dem bevis for, at jeg ikke er et sikkerhedsproblem. De nægter dog at deltage i nogen diskussioner og siger, at min Gamprotect-adgang vil forblive der i 5 år.
Jeg synes, at dette system er fuldstændig mangelfuldt, at ÉN virksomhed kan få mig udelukket fra andre institutioner, selvom jeg er en god og betroet kunde. Hvordan kan én virksomhed have sådan en magt over jer? Det er da en krænkelse af retfærdighed og menneskerettigheder. Jeg er nu udelukket fra at arbejde i min lokale bingohal, udelukket fra mit lokale greyhound-stadion, og min konto er blevet lukket af 12 casinoer. De har alle fortalt mig, at de skal følge Gamprotects retningslinjer, og kun Betway kan afhjælpe dette.
Hvis Betway ikke vil diskutere dette med mig, hvad kan jeg så ellers gøre? For at give kontekst til min uenighed med Betway, fortalte jeg dem, at jeg var en sårbar kunde, og at de ikke burde tillade indbetalinger uden at have foretaget baggrundstjek på forhånd. Dette var idiotisk og blev fremsat i en e-mail, jeg sendte efter en beruset session, da jeg ikke tænkte klart. Jeg forstår, at mine handlinger her var patetiske. Jeg har dog forklaret omstændighederne og undskyldt og skammet mig over, hvad jeg sagde, men de vil ikke lytte. Jeg betaler for det nu, men jeg mener, at jeg burde have ret til at svare.

I have been affiliated with numerous gambling institutions and a member of scores of online casinos for over 30 years without any issues.
Last year I joined Betway but had my first disagreement in my lifetime with a casino regarding deposit limits. At the time I made a few throw away comments about safety issues I might have, that were said due to frustration.(My fault I know and stupid ). They closed my account and added my name to Gamprotect. Since then, all the gambling companies who are signed up to Gamprotect have been closing my accounts with a message :-
"Due to a Gamprotect entry made by Betway we have closed your account. Only Betway can remove this entry therefore you need to contact them".
I have contacted Betway and explained the situation and apologised. I have given them an explanation to any safety needs they think I have and showed them proof I am not a safety concern. However they refuse to engage in any discussions and say my Gamprotect entry will stay there for 5 years.
I find that this system is totally flawed that ONE company can get me banned from other institutions even though I am a good and trusted customer. How can one company have a hold over you like this Surely that is a violation on fairness and Human rights. I am now banned from working at my local Bingo Hall, banned from my local greyhound stadium and had my account closed by 12 casinos. All of them have told me that they have to follow Gamprotect guidelines and only Betway can remedy this.
If Betway won't discuss this with me then what else can I do. For context in my disagreement with Betway I told them I was a vulnerable customer and they should not be allowing deposits without doing background checks beforehand. This was idiotic and was made in an email I sent after a boozy session when I wasn't thinking straight. I understand that my actions here were pathetic. However I have explained the circumstances and apologised and ashamed of what I said but they won't listen. I'm paying for it now but I believe I should be allowed to have a right to reply.
