For me, I usually start by reading reviews on different websites to see what other players are saying, especially about withdrawals, account verification and customer support. Then I check the licence, the bonus terms and whether there are repeated complaints about delayed payments. I also like to test the support team with a simple question before depositing. If the reviews are mostly negative or the answers feel vague, I normally stay away.

Good list already here. Something I'd add: it's worth looking not just at whether a casino has complaints, but at how they get resolved. Almost every operator has some negative reviews somewhere, so the more telling signal is whether they actually respond and fix things once a dispute is raised through a resolution service, versus just going quiet. A casino with a track record of complaints closed as resolved is a very different risk than one where most complaints just sit open.
