Question about Gambling websites with Curaçao license using incorrect Merchant Category code (side 1.563)

Thanks, that's really useful information. I think my mistake was trying to resolve everything through normal emails first rather than submitting a complete formal complaint from the beginning.

I'll ask my bank for the ARNs for all the remaining Walleto transactions and try again with a formal complaint. Do you know if the TRI form has to be completed separately for each transaction, or can several transactions and ARNs be included in one complaint? Also, did Walleto acknowledge your complaint straight away once you submitted everything?

No, Xpate didn't refund the DTVLT transactions directly. I eventually filed chargebacks through my bank. I've already had some success with other Xpate-related transactions, but the DTVLT cases are still pending.

Yes, I did. I explained to my bank that the transactions were related to gambling and also mentioned that I had a gambling block enabled on my card, but the payments still went through. I included this as part of the information supporting my chargeback.

which bank was this? i think i shouldn’t have done such bulk claims as they’ve just declined all of mine on the spot. without even looking into it i don’t think.

One of the banks I used was Revolut. They didn't approve everything automatically, but they did review the disputes and supporting information I provided.

If your bank declined all the claims immediately, I'd ask them for the specific reason and whether they can review the transactions individually rather than treating them as one bulk claim.

Has anyone come across any of these? I’m wondering if some of them could also be processed through Xpate.
