No KYC Until Withdrawal — Fair Policy or a Red Flag

A lot of crypto casinos make signup and deposits really quick, but verification sometimes only comes up when you try to withdraw.

Do you think that’s fair for security, or should KYC requirements be made clear before someone deposits?

Good question, and I know players have discussed this in the past as well. I’ve seen some players who would prefer to verify their account immediately, while others don’t really mind when the verification takes place.

In my experience, the vast majority of casinos usually ask players to complete verification around the time of their first withdrawal. Sometimes it can happen earlier or later, but this is generally the most common point when KYC is requested.

Some casinos allow you to verify your account in advance, while many simply don’t require it until there’s a reason to do so.
