Jeg er udvikler, og jeg har arbejdet i branchen i et stykke tid. Det meste af tiden har jeg arbejdet på traditionelle casinoplatforme, men nu arbejder jeg på et nyt initiativ kaldet Raffle Rooms.
Det er en webapp med minimal opsætning for nu. Jeg ville ikke ligefrem kalde det et casino, men det minder nok mere om et lotterisystem.
Målet med dette projekt er at give spillerne en bedre chance for at vinde og en lavere chance for at tabe alle deres penge. Hvordan det fungerer i praksis afhænger selvfølgelig stadig meget af spillernes tankegang og adfærd.
Kerneideen er at introducere nye typer spil, hvor systemet ikke blot dræner spillernes saldo, men i stedet skaber et økosystem, hvor saldoen cirkulerer mellem spillerne. I teorien ville den eneste reelle ulempe være, hvis nogen stopper med at spille helt – ellers burde spillerne i det mindste gå i nul i værste fald, eller potentielt ende med overskud.
Jeg ved godt, at det lyder urealistisk, men matematisk set er det fuldt ud muligt at designe.
Min største bekymring er spillernes tankegang. Mange spillere foretrækker spil, der er hurtige, intense og spændende, selvom det betyder, at de hurtigt kan tabe mange penge.
Så jeg er nysgerrig: Tror du, at spillerne rent faktisk ville være interesserede i et system, der er designet til at være mere bæredygtigt for dem, eller foretrækker de fleste spillere stadig den højrisiko- og hurtige spillestil?

I'm a developer and I've been around this space for a while. Most of the time I've worked on traditional casino platforms, but now I'm working on a new initiative called Raffle Rooms.
It's a web app with a minimal setup for now. I wouldn't exactly call it a casino, but it's probably closer to a lottery-style system.
The goal of this project is to give players a better chance of winning and a lower chance of losing all their money. Of course, how it works in practice still depends a lot on the players' mindset and behavior.
The core idea is to introduce new types of games where the system doesn't just drain players' balances, but instead creates an ecosystem where balances circulate among players. In theory, the only real downside would be if someone stops playing entirely — otherwise players should at least break even in the worst case, or potentially end up in surplus.
I know this might sound unrealistic, but mathematically it's quite possible to design.
My main concern is the players' mindset. Many players tend to prefer games that are fast, intense, and exciting, even if that means they might lose a lot of money quickly.
So I'm curious: do you think players would actually be interested in a system designed to be more sustainable for them, or do most players still prefer the high-risk, fast-paced style of gambling?
