Hi there,

I'm a Unity game developer and I was wondering if you have any references of casino game providers who are building their games using the Unity game engine.

It seems that most casino game providers are using old school web technologies hence aren't benefiting of the latest improvements brought by tier-1 game engine companies like Unity.

Games made with Unity can be exported in WebGL which is a standard when playing on an internet browser.

I'd be very happy to understand more that space and find the innovative actors using the WebGL wrapper of Unity to create export their games made with the engine.

Thanks for your insights 🙂

Best

M

Sorry, we focus on fair gambling. This is really far from our area. I can also say there have been only a few game developers actively visiting the forum. I truly think this isn't the best place for such a topic.🤔

Let's see what you'll get here!

Hi Radka,

Fair gambling or not, Unity is a game engine = a tool to design games.

Only the actual use of this tool/engine by game developers make the final products fair or unfair.

I have looked for on other forums and found interesting insights:

  • Unity has a service dedicated to gambling: https://unity.com/solutions/gambling
  • Unity charge an expensive license fee to operate real money games using their engine
  • Game providers like Evoplay are using Unity to create next-gen casino games: https://evoplay.games/game_tags/3d-vr-rpg-innovations/
  • However the current technologies used by most game providers remain javascript and web based technologies for ease of integrations and wide distribution capabilities

I look forward to other feedback and insights!

Thanks

Let me put it this way: This isn't the right place for promoting such a tool. Yes, your latest post sounds more like an advert to me 🙂

"3.6. Feel free to discuss gambling here, just avoid promoting products or services. Are we clear, please?
