In my opinion, if a player is sufficiently captivated by the stated deposit bonus to make a deposit, there is no reason why the promised deposit bonus should not be given - without the casino committing a blatantly unfair act. False advertisement, quite similar.
I would be, however, a bit more benevolent with no deposit bonuses, but only if the casino did not make any mistakes during the whole process. 🤷♀️
