They’re miscoding the mcc number I think it is so it doesn’t come up against gambling. It’s against the law what they’re doing, but banks aren’t always on your side for it I dont think?

After reviewing my bank statement, I noticed that the payment was not processed under your casino name. Instead, the transaction appears under a merchant called Social King, with an incorrect Merchant Category Code (MCC).

Payments relating to gambling services should be correctly classified under MCC 7995 (Betting/Casino Gambling). The use of an unrelated merchant descriptor and incorrect MCC code does not accurately represent the true nature of the transaction and raises serious concerns regarding how this payment was processed.

I did not knowingly agree for my casino deposit to be processed through a third-party merchant under a different description. I am therefore requesting an immediate full refund of the ££££££££ deposit back to the original payment method.

Please process this refund without delay. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will consider escalating the issue through my bank, the relevant payment providers, and pursuing any further legal remedies available to me.

These were with monzo so they were just crypto ones. Think they were all pass point sp zoo. Really struggling with getting back from monzo they closed the case right away didn’t even look into it so i raised a complaint.

were these credit card or your own money. I’ve raised disputes on my vanquis credit card now because these were with winbeast which wouldn’t close my account despite me explicitly telling them i have a gambling addiction. but scared to take it to barclaycard as not sure how they handle these claims. Most my barclaycard transactions are with that santeda group which i think will be hard to recover. I sent emails to all the santeda casinos and they basically all just instantly denied any wrongdoing and gave me their complaints email. All their casinos basically sent exactly the same response one after the other. Should be good evidence for the bank tho if and when i decide to dispute barclaycard.

Hi. I’m still trying to sort things out amicably with XPATE. But so far, nothing’s working out. I’ll have to file a claim through the bank, and that’s a long process. I’ll have to wait at least 90 days. 

Hi. I’ve managed to get XPATE to start making payments after all. But in reality, they’ve only paid out a tiny fraction so far.
