CNB said there’s nothing they can do basically. Only option is to mail them a refund request but costs like 15£ in post and likely won’t get anywhere. I have that much with them i’m genuinely considering it.

Yes, comparing the three should tell us a lot. I have quite a few transactions under these descriptors, so I’m keen to get something concrete rather than keep guessing from the names.

If we find that Visual Mill, XOR Visual Layer and Art Solution share the same Acquirer ID or MCC, that would be very useful. I’ll update the thread as soon as my bank gives me the transaction data.

Agreed. Getting the money back is ultimately the important part. I’m still trying the direct route first, but if there’s no response I’ll probably have to rely on chargebacks.

If you hear of anyone successfully recovering funds from Art Solution, XOR Visual Layer, Visual Mill or Hexo Land, please let me know. It would be useful to know which route worked and roughly how long it took.

Yes, a few of the cases were eventually decided in my favour after I challenged the documents, and the money was returned.

Xpate didn’t handle every case in exactly the same way. Some went through without anything further after my response, while others took longer and are still pending. With vercs2 and tokdom, I’m still waiting for the final outcome on some transactions, so I can’t say yet that everything has been resolved.

When Xpate sends additional documents, does your bank give you another opportunity to respond to them each time? I want to make sure I don’t miss anything if they challenge my remaining cases.

That list of merchants are all from my monzo.

Ive tried loads. Masking off mcc codes. Digital goods not received. Winnings being held etc. Didnt matter what I put monzo always auto declined them. But doing the charge backs must send a signal to the merchants and they panic hence why I have received some refunds from nearly half of them.
