At bevise, at loot boxes er faktisk gambling, er sandsynligvis en kedelig proces (se Holland), men at låne fra fungerende løsninger (dvs. Xbox's måde at kontrollere køb i spillet på) giver mening for mig.

DCMS first said it would not add loot boxes to the Gambling Act 2005 review. They announced the parental consent measure shortly after, though, which I feel is a good way to regulate loot boxes.
Proving loot boxes are actual gambling is likely to be a tedious process (see the Netherlands), but borrowing from working solutions (i.e. Xbox's way of controlling in-game purchases) makes sense to me.
