En klar årsag til, at en spilleudbyder er seriøs med deres forretning og i forhold til ansvarligt spil, er, hvis en kunde har formået at spille væk/indbetale penge, selvom han eller hun havde bedt om en permanent lukning med den specifikke årsag, der er nævnt: Ludomani. .
Hvis kunden derefter har informeret spiludbyderen endnu:
a) Kasinoet tillod dig stadig at spille.
b) Kasinoet lukkede din konto, men du var i stand til at genåbne den.
c) Det lykkedes dig at spille væk på et andet kasino inden for det samme (licens til samme mærke) bemærk: Nogle kasinoer kræver separate licenser, selvom de er af samme mærke. Så er der ikke noget at gøre.
Dette er dog ikke de eneste grunde til en mulig tilbagebetaling.
