I've just got a response from Monzo in relation to a ton of individual transactions. They've declined my request, even after stating these companies are committing fraud via MCC, transaction fraud and money laundering.


They're providing an illegal gambling service. And doing this to circumvent my active gambling block on my account.


Seems like there's no way forward for me. Don't know what to say or do. I've lost £17k via monzo since the 1st of May, when my gambling block was active.


Feel so helpless!

Has anyone got in touch with Mastercard or Visa and reported their bank for not complying with combating transaction laundering?


I've got a gambling block on my debit cards. Plus all credit cards automatically have a block on gambling in the UK, since 2020.


However, these transactions just bypass them. And yet our banks and credit cards expect to take no liability or blame, even though they can definitely claim back the money and not at all be out of pocket if they wanted to!


What's all of your thoughts on this?

VISA og Mastercard har været overvældet af dette problem i årevis, men de har intet at gøre med transaktionerne; de leverer kun systemet til betalinger. Alt andet varetages af bankerne og serviceudbyderne; de griber kun indirekte ind i tilfælde af tilbageførsler.

All of my transactions were through transferop (PayOp) with Monzo and one with fomiline (quickbit) - then a few more again with PayOp on my HSBC followed by then more on my debit card with goriwire / arcomet / bitsent/ wintermsde / payment gateway / music reverb / faramp

basically everything I had - or didn’t have 🤦🏻‍♀️

Paymentz have said they can’t find the transaction, and since I have refused to give specific details about the transactions ie amount and dates, they can’t perform a deeper search.
