Interesting. I will have to do the same tomorrow when I get a chance. As I know some of them have obviously gone through Mastercard as a processor but never knew how to contact them!

Revolut also rejected my claims, I filed a complaint since some of the chargebacks went through but not everyone. The complaint was also rejected without any explaination why some were rejected and some not.


I also emailed merchantsurcharge@mastercard.com about these merchants. No response yet.

Just explained my situation, and how the company i dealt with operated and violated the law/ToS, they seemed quite interested so they're investigating

Revolut aren't great with these type of disputes, best bet is an ombudsman and try mastercard again

Yes, told them the truth, the transactions aren't listed as gambling transactions (wrong merchant code) though even though i deposited at a casino so i'd assume that's why they're interested

Or have any idea how to approach higher up as I just keep getting ignored or refused refunds via email! I have had 2 successful refunds back in July with 2 other sites! Staying hopeful 🤞🏼

Tried goldenbet directly but no result, currently working with an ombudsman as chase bank wouldn't issue a chargeback and MasterCard (they're investigating)

My bank are the same refused to investigate. Appalling really isn’t it. I’ve read up on this thread about Santeda BV being the owner of goldenbet etc did you get anywhere with them?

Took them 3 days to send me an email to send stuff to support my claim to, within an hour they'd replied with some basic ToS reply, was well more than an hours worth of evidence to go through, just sort of fobbed me off, hopefully the ombudsman leans on them a bit as they have a bit more authority than i do, Santeda are worse than goldenbet itself, they're not allowed to operate to UK customers, and have been sanctioned for doing similar in Spain, Australia and Sweden.

Depends what you told them, they asked for more details from me so they could escalate it to a higher team, may be worth asking them to do that.
