i would raise another complaint, what did the email state when you had confirmation they received your complaint normally says bla bla business days. Aldo quick question for my mate my chargeback do the merchants have 45 business days to dispute my chargeback or 45 normal days.

It said they planned to resolve within 5 business days but if not they will get back within 20 business days if taking longer I chased twice just get told its busy and its not yet assigned.

If you have not heard after 2 weeks your safe but you still need to wait the 45-60 days to get the money

I would raise another complaint, complain that your chasing them for update regularly and your not happy with how long its taken to resolve it and its causing you distress and anxiety.


Its been 14 days this Thursday and i ent heard nothing since then so i assume its 45-60 normal days not 45-60 business days i have to wait

from what i been reading on a certain Scottish bank which i am with if for everyday they go over the allotted time they state in email they compensate £30 a day.

I know its odd they are taking so long makes me think they have to raise them but cannot be bothered will see how it goes anyway might be better to hold of n make sure I get a decent handler assigned

thing is surely it shouldn't take them that long, on my complaint i had a phone call from handler on Thursday lunchtime about 1pm to introduce herself and by 5pm that same day my investigation was complete and i had my decision letter.

Ok I know I called in to talk to the guy who raised it for me in the 31/10/24 then got an email with a ref number next day if it goes on in to another week surely they have failed me !

Looking like it mate ! I counted 17k of transactions in less than a week on my RBS account ! this should never have been allowed to happen ! Im not sure if they will question the payouts they never last time but even with them I lost £13500 and my bank gambling advisor said move fast in it as the criminals clean the accounts out

what have you stated the reason for the chargebacks ? My bank has asked me if I want to file under the wrong MCC or services not received
